Mayo fascia release, Manual lymph drainage, sports massage, and generally fixing what ails you. it should be noted that Elise is one of the few therapists in the Kansas City area who advanced certification in Manual Lymph Drainage massage.
Outcall is available in most locations within a 100+ mile radius, although outcall is not available in Gardner, KCK, Lenexa, Leawood, Olathe, Shawnee or Mission.
We enjoy people & helping a client to reach their goals. It is a joy to open up the world of physiology and massage therapy to a client by helping them see how to be self-sustaining between sessions and how to recognize the real need.
While I start new treatment plans every day, one of my new favorites has been a client with multiple severe autoimmune dissorders including sjogrens. As a shut-in she depends on immediate/flexible care for her pain relief. her cocktail of medicines doesn't cut it, and if she sprains her back opening a window she calls me (I'm certified to work with acute injuries). Every time it is a blessing to help get her to a better homeostasis when her own body betrays her. Another of my frequent projects are clients with majorly asymmetrical torsos like scoliosis or lateral pelvic tilts. Through weekly/biweekly massage coupled with self care at home (suggested stretches and workout alterations) my clients consistently gain more symmetry in their upper torso compartment, hip region, and lower extremities compartment. Another of the most recent projects was to help a client learn pain management due to certain pelvic issues. Over the course of 2 months of bi-weekly appointments we diagnosed the cause of the chronic pain; treated the affect of unilateral pelvic tilt; and treated him to the point of infrequent need for massage.

Elise Young LMT CMLDT is proficient in deep tissue, myofascial release, and post-op/post-injury rehab. She is certified in Manual Lymph Drainage, myofascial release, prenatal, pediatrics, substance abuse therapy, and lower extremity SMRT.
