About
Gail’s relationship with massage covers the span of 30 years. It first appeared in her 20’s when out of boredom and necessity she chose “Massage for couples” from the local community newsletter. She didn’t have a partner but went anyway and was able to team up with another solo classmate. All that mattered was being able to massage someone and getting a massage was a good bonus.
Fast forward 15 years and she experiences a bad car accident. She was under the care of a General Practitioner who referred her to a Chiropractor. With Chiropractic and Massage she recovered from a bad case of whiplash. It was still a few more years before she finally made the move and registered for Massage School. Graduating in 2006 she is now a 15 year veteran of massage therapy.
Gail’s main objective is to help her clients realize a truly relaxing massage experience and pain relief. In order to facilitate best results she utilizes one or more of the methods utilized in the Relaxation Response. These include massage, meditation, quiet environment(silent or soothing music),breathing techniques, and comfort. The objective is to reach Homeostasis. The meaning of Homeostasis is to be balanced in all the body systems needed for the body to survive and function correctly. This is important because our lives are filled with things that impact our balance, and allows our system to become imbalanced. The impact can be high blood pressure, Blood glucose issues, and other bodily imbalances.
