Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first meeting will include a postural assessment, as well as checking your joint range of motion. We will go over a health intake form, as well as an informed consent release. We will discuss whether you are looking for swedish, deep tissue, or issue specific massage. We will go over if you prefer light or deep pressure and find out your comfortability level.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had 3 years of education at Illinois Central College. We did community outreach, as well as client based professional classrooms. I was trained in condition specific massage, swedish, as well as some deep tissue techniques. I plan to get more certifications in time, but my main focus has been a relaxing swedish massage.
