Kierra was wonderful. She came to me and was kind and courteous. I told her of my problem areas and she took extra time massaging those areas. She is very professional. 😀

Kierra was great, she arrived early, ensured I was comfortable, asked me about my problems areas, and she was strong where I needed her strength. Kierra has a great flow working thoroughly through the muscles. I will definitely schedule with Kierra again.

I have worked with a variety of clients! I have worked in a spa environment (calm, relaxing setting). I also worked in a more upbeat area like chiropractor offices (30 mins focus treatments) based upon medical finding from physical therapists and chiropractor. I've worked with referral clients from IBJI (Illinois Bone and Joint Institute). I've worked closely with their physical therapist. The PT would report the muscles of discomfort/pain/weakness/tightness/etc and I massage based upon PT finding and my own professional opinion. I have also worked the Chicago Bank of America Marathon; I worked the finished line (giving massage to runners after the race) and medical tent.

My best advice is be comfortable with your therapist! Massage/massage therapy is intimate, vulnerable (being undressed and face down). Be comfortable to speak on pressure comfort during massage. Your therapist should make you feel comfortable while maintaining a professional, relax, unjudgemental environment!
