What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a variety of clients! I have worked in a spa environment (calm, relaxing setting). I also worked in a more upbeat area like chiropractor offices (30 mins focus treatments) based upon medical finding from physical therapists and chiropractor. I've worked with referral clients from IBJI (Illinois Bone and Joint Institute). I've worked closely with their physical therapist. The PT would report the muscles of discomfort/pain/weakness/tightness/etc and I massage based upon PT finding and my own professional opinion. I have also worked the Chicago Bank of America Marathon; I worked the finished line (giving massage to runners after the race) and medical tent.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
My best advice is be comfortable with your therapist! Massage/massage therapy is intimate, vulnerable (being undressed and face down). Be comfortable to speak on pressure comfort during massage. Your therapist should make you feel comfortable while maintaining a professional, relax, unjudgemental environment!
