Becoming licensed as a Massage Therapist has been the most rewarding career. With more than 5 years experience, I can truly say I will be doing this for as long as my body will let me! I work with people of all walks of life who need a place to recover their muscles and joints, relax and decompress their mind and body. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Either by phone, email or online to book your session for 30, 60 or 90 minutes. Will send an Intake form to fill out via email to answer pertinant questions that will help me better serve your needs during the session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Since graduating from Northwestern College in 2014 with my Massage Therapist license, ive since continued my training in clinical techniques, stretch therapy, cupping therapy and worked in clinical and spa settings.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
First time clients $75 for an hour. $115 for 90 minutes
Add on services: Cupping therapy, Table stretchimg and Aromatherapy. $10-$15 extra
How did you get started in this business?
I couldnt believe how effective Massage Therapy was at getting rid of my shoulder pain, and how it felt to relax my whole body! I knew then that I wanted to bring people this feelling of total body healing and deep relaxation.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All walks of life, from the busy business person to the college student stressing during exams!
Ive volenteered at the Chicago Marathons Ronald McDonald fundraiser, worked with highschool athletes and parents working from home. Both maintanence wellness massage and clinical active therapy.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
You want a Massage Therapist who can not only give a great massage during the session, but a service that is effective at treating your specific needs. A treatmemt that lasts and makes ypu want to come back because you want to, not because you need to.
Is knowledgeable of how the body works and functions as a whole and is passionate about what they do.
