My name is Robert. I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2006. I provide professional therapeutic massage at your home and will customize my work to your needs. I have trained in clinical and relaxation massage. I specialize in back pain and headaches.

I also provide Therapeutic Taiji which includes active relaxation training, training in taiji movements and stances (specifically the 13 skills—shi san shi), assisted movement/stretching, training/instruction in customized self-care and/or partner massage and energy balancing.

Active relaxation is at the heart of pain relief.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I arrive at the client's location within 15 minutes of start time to set up.

I bring my professional heated massage table, linens, massage lotion, essential oils and music.

I offer essential oil infusion in the massage lotion at no charge.

Communication is key. Prior to the session I will ask you questions to determine your goals/needs/expectations for the massage. Whether you are looking to relax, relieve your pain or both I will always do my absolute best for you.

I am pet friendly. If your pet wants to hang out with you during your massage they are welcome to do so

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I graduated from the Chicago campus of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with certificates in Western Massage Therapy & Tui Na: Chinese Massage Therapy & Acupressure.

I formally studied Hunyuan Taiji for 6 years.

Developed Therapeutic Taiji system that uses all my education and experience.

I have over 800 hours of training in Kinesiology.

I am a certified Reiki Master in 2 different Reiki systems.

I have over 100 hours of training in both Zen Shiatsu & Soma Veda Thai Massage.

I have over 50 hours of training in Craniosacral Therapy.
