Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do an intake form, consisting of medical background and general information about the type of work, hobbies and massage needs. Through a discussion with the client, we agree on techniques to be used during the massage.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have close to 700 hours of education and continuing education.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
In office massages start at $65 for an hour, $90 for an hour and a half, and $115 for two hours.
How did you get started in this business?
I started getting massage therapy for a medical condition and realized that not only did it help the condition, but improved my overall well being.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with people from 4 to 94. Athletes, and non-athletes. Those who are mobile, and those confined to wheelchairs. And everyone in between.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
When deciding on a therapist, look first for a license. Ask questions about their cancellation policy, intake procedure and techniques. Each therapist is unique and no two therapists will give you the same massage. If you find one that doesn't meet your needs, look for another. Not every therapist can be for you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Know what type of massage you want. Do you want to relax? Have you been experiencing soreness or pain anywhere? Are there areas of your body you don't want touched, like your feet, or your face?
