What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Licensed massage therapist (Hawaii) with anatomy/kinesiology training, 20+ years of massage instruction, bilingual Japanese–English interpreter training, and certified safety/customer‑service training for private charter driving.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes. I use a standardized hourly rate for massage therapy and private charter driving, and a session‑based rate for instructional and bilingual training services. All fees are communicated upfront for clarity and consistency.
How did you get started in this business?
I started in this business very naturally through my background in massage therapy and bilingual support. I first trained in anatomy and therapeutic massage, and over time I began teaching massage techniques and providing Japanese–English operational translation for clients who needed clear guidance. As demand grew, I expanded into mobile massage services, instructional work, and bilingual training for Japanese audiences.
My private charter driving work also developed organically from supporting visiting clients who needed reliable transportation with Japanese‑friendly communication. All of my services grew from real client needs, and my experience in customer care, teaching, and bilingual communication shaped the business I run today.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide range of customers across my different services.
As a licensed mobile massage therapist and instructor, I support local residents, visiting clients, and Japanese customers who prefer clear bilingual communication. I also work with business members and corporate teams when providing operational training, technical guidance, and Japanese–English interpretation.
In my private charter driving work, I primarily serve visiting Japanese clients, families, and business travelers who need reliable transportation and culturally comfortable support during their stay in Hawaii. Overall, my customers include individuals, families, tourists, and professional groups who value clear communication, safety, and high‑quality service.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent event I am fond of was helping a visiting Japanese family during their trip to Hawaii. They needed both transportation and clear bilingual support, so I provided private charter driving and simple interpretation throughout the day. We visited several local spots, and I helped them understand cultural details, safety information, and how to navigate the area comfortably.
Seeing them relax, enjoy Hawaii, and feel fully supported made the experience meaningful for me. It reminded me why I enjoy combining customer care, bilingual communication, and local knowledge in my work.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
When hiring a professional in my areas of expertise, I always recommend looking for someone who communicates clearly, maintains consistent standards, and understands the specific needs of the customer. For massage therapy and instruction, it’s important to choose a licensed therapist with solid anatomy knowledge and the ability to explain techniques in a way that fits the client’s level.
For bilingual training or interpretation, I advise choosing someone who can translate not only language but also context, cultural expectations, and operational details. And for private charter driving, reliability, safety awareness, and customer‑focused service should be top priorities.
Overall, the best professionals are those who combine technical skill with patience, cultural sensitivity, and a genuine commitment to helping clients feel comfortable and supported.
