Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Call and let me know the day, time of day you want your massage. Let me know the cross streets nearest your location. I will text or call back to set the appointment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Myoskeletal Alignment
Myofacial Release
Trigger Point
Friction
Foot Reflexology
Active Isolated Stretching
How did you get started in this business?
I was injured in a car accident and got the most relief & rehabilitation from a very good massage therapist.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have been employed by physicians, chiropractors, physical therapists and high end resort spas. I also maintained my own office, work sports events and Mobile services.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Many come to my table with a face showing all their worries and fears, their bodies bent and twisted to compensate for the pain. Their bodies are yelling at them for relief....but when our session is over everything changes and I can see it in their faces. That is what fulfills me.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask questions about the therapists experience and techniques. Ask them to explain the difference between Swedish massage, deep tissue or whatever other techniques they advertise and ask how their technique will address your particular needs.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Be able to describe your pain, if you have it, when it started, what you think caused it. If you just want to relax with no "fixing" then tell the therapist. If you want your scalp, face, feet and body massaged, or you don't, just tell them.
