What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New clients fill out a complete intake form which includes medical information.
The client also needs to be honest and fully fill out and sign the form. It is emailed and returned electronically.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed massage therapist. I have completed many hours of continuing education. I have had extra training in Cranio Sacral Therapy, Myofascia Release, Myoskeletal Alignment and Deep Tissue. Of course I also do swedish massage. My technique is more of a holistic approach. Working with mind, body and spirit.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Typically for in house services I charge at least $125 per hour.
How did you get started in this business?
I was engaged to a man that had chronic low back pain/sciatic pain and had had 3 back surgeries. I would work on him and he sid I was the only person that had been able to get him out of pain for any length of time. He said I should go to school for massage, so I did. I'm very grateful that I was given a gift that I can help people have better quality of life.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with athletes of all types. I work on housewives, business men, I have also worked on a few well know people.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure they are licensed, and highly trained.
