My name is Melissa Jordan and I offer massage therapy beyond the basic Swedish at my office in the Southside of Jax, promoting health & wellness through advanced bodywork techniques in the Jacksonville area.
CranioSacral Therapy
For those who want a relaxing experience. Gentle contact with the body releases restrictions in the craniosacral system, which has been shown to improve the functioning of the central nervous system, as well as many other systems of the body, such as digestive, musculoskeletal, respiratory, circulatory, and more. CST has also been shown to help with the physical components related to such somatic conditions as Post Traumatic Stress, depression and anxiety.
Therapeutic Massage
Using Neuromuscular Therapy (Trigger-point Therapy) muscles receive deep tissue work that stretches and manipulates the tissue to achieve better range of movement, reduction in pain and body positional awareness. This type of therapy can be beneficial for those who are looking to promote their own health and wellness.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After making an appointment online via my website, the system will email you paperwork to fill out electronically, this saves time so that when you get to the office we can focus all our attention on the actual massage. Good verbal communication is great so that I can help you to achieve your goals with massage therapy!

Specialized schooling in bodywork at the Florida School of Advanced Bodywork.

How did you get started in this business?
My grandmother inspired me through energybased work over 10 years ago. Now I have the license to touch and can utilize that experience in a healing way.

Helping a client over the course of a couple appointments to regain full use of his wrist and complete shoulder mobility was very rewarding.
