About

There are many things I like, but few things I love. And being a massage therapist is one of those few things I love.

From graduating high school to serving in the military and becoming a Vet, these were stepping stones towards massage. Granted, I've always wanted to help people, but never knew exactly how to go about it.

I used my GI bill to further my education to cast a wider net for any possible opportunities that may have come in those days, but attending and graduating from Persian Spa Institute proved to be not just a career path, but an undiscovered passion.

With over 700+ hours of massage therapy under my belt from the school, I obtained my license and started working for Massage Envy, Oakleaf location, and it has come to my attention from all the Clients I have massaged there and here; a deep tissue massage is what everyone needs.

While going to a massage Spa is ideal for every day stress relief, it can be an inconvenience at the very least, i.e. traffic and life in general, which creates even more stress. To a truly genuine struggle for those needing assistance who make the arduous trip over to the physical establishment to get that necessary care the body desperately needs. I've seen the latter personally and it's unacceptable.

Enter Heavy Healing Hands massage. I understand the basic massage (Swedish) can help some people, but I stand firm in saying that deep tissue massage should be the new standard and that Swedish massage is the method to maintain what deep tissue has layed the foundational work for to maintain.

I have worked on a variety bodies from men to women, tall to small, thin to thick with varying occupations such as teachers, secretaries, nurses, truckers, warehouse workers, farm hands, mechanics, active military members as well as fellow veterans such as myself, and others. I haven't seen it all, but I've seen my fair share.

As for the kind of pressure you can expect from my type of deep tissue massage, it can be akin to a neuromuscular massage as most, if not all, of my Clients have been satisfied with and have continued to ask for.

To ensure that I will NOT go beyond what you can take during the massage, I will ask if the pressure needs to be adjusted or not appropriately. I'm not here to harm you nor your body, but to heal what I can.

After the session you may feel sore, drowsy or even both, which is perfectly normal, especially if you have not received a proper deep tissue massage before. Drinking plenty of water and getting an adequate amount of rest after the massage will yield the best effects.

"I can't promise a miracle, but you can expect heavy healing."
