About

Yehudit Iglesia created Holistic Health Care Miami. Yehudit is a licensed acupuncturist in the State of Florida and is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Yehudit believes that bringing people into balance is the key to preventing and treating disease. She treats patients with a holistic focus, using acupuncture, Chinese herbs, dietary and lifestyle counseling. She recognizes the integration of all aspects of health — personal, environmental and social — and strongly believes in the benefits of a plant-based diet, exercise and rest, a healthy environment, and psychological well being. She herself keeps a vegan diet, practices meditation and studies Kabbalah.

In 2002, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University. In 2005, she obtained a Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, with an emphasis in group dynamics and peer pressure, from Carlos Albizu University. While pursuing her Master in I/O Psychology, Yehudit completed a practicum at Florida Power & Light at the FPL-WELL Employee Assistance Program, where she helped to coordinate healthy lunches, meditation group breaks, and conducted research for plans to demonstrate to top executives the importance of healthy lifestyle and healthy programs for employees and employers. In 2008, she obtained a Diploma in Oriental Medicine from the Acupuncture Massage College. After that experience, she immersed herself in the study of alternative medicine with a doctoral degree in Oriental Medicine at the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine (in view). She was recently selected and admitted to a PhD Program from the international depart at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine under Prof Xianodong Cheng M.D.Phd. Immunology and Tradional Chinese medicine.

She is also very involved in her community as member of several organizations, including: the American psychological Association (APA), a scientific and professional organization that represents psychologists in the United States; Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, an organization that promotes excellence and integrity in the professional practice of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in order to enhance public health and well-being; the National Health Association, an organization whose mission is to educate and empower individuals to understand that health results from healthful living; and, EarthSave Miami, an organization that educates people about the powerful effects our food choices have on the environment, our health and all life on Earth, and encourages a shift toward a healthy, plant-based diet, where she also volunteers.

Yehudit is also featured in the Biltmore Who’s Who Registry, and the National Association of Professional Women because of her commitment to women issues, infertility, children health, allergies of eyes, nose and throat problems as well as dermatological issues.
