Vicki Roberts is an excellent massage therapist. She has an energetic personality, but not too energetic. She is the type of person that you can have a friendly conversation with while still getting a relaxing experience. I know I definitely had a relaxing experience, as I dozed off a few times. The environment was also very clean and everything was sterilized. I recommend Vicki Roberts as a massage therapist for anyone who wants a friendly, relaxing experience.

First a welcoming and warm introduction.  Then the client must fill out an intake form.  That will emphasize if the client is coming in "just for a massage" or if they actually have an issue or concern.

Next is my assessment, this allows me to see the whole picture of my client within my scope of practice.

After the assessment I must then evaluate the information and prepare for clinical decision making and judgement.

Once the assessment has been made the plan of care can be created.  This is evidenced based on each individual client.

Then treatment comes in play this is where the massage is applied. This is guided by the assessment, evaluation, and plan of care.

Next, reassessment and evaluation is a vital part of massage. This helps monitor my clients progress, gather information after treatment to monitor change in previously asked questions.

Finally, charting this is the best way I know to track my clients progress.

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, Licensed Esthestician, Certified Lymphatic Therapist and Licensed Pratical Nurse.  I pride myself in my ability to care for and listen to the needs of others and am well versed in Anatomy, Physiology, and Ethics.  I believe in tailoring a massage to the individual needs of each client by using multiple modalities to get the best results possible.

I received an Associates Degree in Nursing in 1997 and worked more than fifteen years in diverse fields of Geriatrics, OB/GYN, Plastic Surgery, ENT, and Homecare.  Frustrated that the modern medical field leaves no time for hands on patient care, I decided on a career change and trained in the Art of Massage Therapy at the Florida School of Massage in Gainesville, Florida.

My training consist of Swedish massage, Deep tissue, Neuromuscular therapy, and Sports massage.  I am also Certified in Bamboo Fusion massage and am a Certified Lymphatic Therapist.  These are just some of the modulaties that I use in my practice.

Therapeutic goals not only vary person to person but also day to day.  This is why I offer a variety of modalities to choose from with variations in pressure, technique, areas of focus, and desired outcomes. My top priority is to personalize each massage session according to the needs of my clients that day.

I am a Professional Member of the American Therapy Association(AMTA) and am an avid Florida Gator football fan.
