I have a NY and Florida massage license. In NY I did twice as many hours to get licensed then in Florida. I take medical massage classes and I know things most massage therapist don't about the body. I am caring and I listen to the needs of my clients. I drive to your location and I use unsented lotion. I can do prenatal massage, elder, deep tissue, reflexology, swedish, sports, lymphatic drainage and shiatsu massage. I have worked for a chiropractor so I have learned things medical message which can help you while your getting therapy or after being injured. The power of message is here for me and you in a theraputic way. I have had peoe come to me walking sideways. Once I. Finished working on them they walk straight again. Nothing to do with their spine it's their tight out of place muscles.
I enjoy helping clients heal and relax. Making their lives easier. If a client comes in walking sideways due to pain and leave walking straight with much less pain, then I'm happy. They are getting what they came in for. I explain what I have to do to each client to achieve what is needed and wanted by each person. This way they know why it takes time to fully heal them. I never give them advise or suggest anything that I know nothing about. I may have to research it and get back to them. If something I know works I let them know so we can work together to get them better. This part of the communication process is what helps me understand my clients and vis versa. When they see the care I take with them I get excited as they do to be working together.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask them questions on what they need anything medical going on and what they don't want massaged. Then I wash my hands so they can get on the table. I'll ask a couple of times or so if the pressure is good. I will inform them of things that concern me or I find is going in with their body. This helps them know what or why I massage the way I do. I also give them tips at home to help me help them make their life easier..like the right way to sleep, pillows to use and stretches that can help them along the road to healing and getting better.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked with a chiropractor and have over 1000 hours of training and skills. I have two massage licenses. One in NY state and one that is national. I also have years of experience as well working with clients.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
It depends most are $80 for one hour. Depends how far from home I have to travel. If I have to travel about an hour then I charge $100 for the hour. Certain other massages besides deep tissue and swedish maybe different prices. Call/text and ask for additional info.
How did you get started in this business?
I went to school to find what I love. I love to help heal people in a peaceful atmosphere.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types, people that are pregnant woman, disabled, sports professionals, elderly, minors and people with missing body parts.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have worked with a veterans group in NY and the NYC marathon runners, in Florida I was asked to do stretching service for the PGA tour in Palm Harbor.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
If they are not going to ask a few questions to get to know what you need then don't trust them. How can they massage you and not know what is wrong? Also as them their credentials. How long they went to school and how they keep their license up to date. Ask if they know about the meds your taking and if that can help the massage. You know if they have arthritis or other aliments that can help or hinder the massage. Also ask them what days they are available to work. Make sure they stick to that schedule or give you a heads up on the change if they do change things. If they give you advice on how to stretch or sleep or things to take to help you keep getting better then they care. We don't waste your time telling you things if we don't care about you. Ask for their card. Most are more then happy to give you a few to give out to others. If you like their work please give them a great review and ask were you can send them a great review.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What is bothering them. What they don't want massaged. What meds they are taking. Where they want the table set up. What they may need included in their massage. Special pillows a help to get on the table or turn over.
