About
I’ve been a Medical Massage therapist for 24 years. Whether you have been experiencing pain for some time or you woke up with a nagging sensation, I’m confident we can fix the issue rather than just slap a band aid on it as in regular ol’ massage.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In order to get to know your body, and essentially allow the body to relax and gain trust in my hands, I begin with relaxing Lomi lomi, lengthening strokes. From there depending upon what your muscles need, I use a number of different modality strokes until the tendons have relaxed and allowed the muscles to lay flat. This is how they should be flat, not rounded. Imagine for a moment tightening your hand into a fist, where your muscles become rounded. It kinda hurts, doesn’t it? Now let it open and the muscles go flat, awwwh relaxation. That’s what we shall work towards with you, so that you leave my table you feel like one big marshmallow.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have many certifications, from cupping to European Stone method to Medical Training.
In 24 years I’ve had extensive continuing education. If you have a question just ask
757-416-8314
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I have two tiers of pricing as you will see by my website. One level is $1.25/min the more extensive modalities are $1.50/min
How did you get started in this business?
After bailing on my second year of Med school, I worked as a counselor and I found myself always getting a massage. I love learning so I took my original class in 1994 from there I couldn’t get enough, and once I experienced true European Hot Stone massage (98 stones are used here) I was obsessed.
What types of customers have you worked with?
ive worked with extreme athletes to oncology patients and those in Hospice care. With everyone in between. In other words I welcome all to my table and have been known to work on Equine and Canines as well
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently volunteered at the Lee Memorial, just giving neck and feet rubs to patients going through chemo.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask questions, no one knows your body better than you
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Ask about their training.
if you are experiencing specific pain, begin to describe it and see if they, 1)can identify the pain
and 2) do they know what to do with it... they must know he synergyst and antagonist of the problematic muscles and in essence the eferrring trigger areas as well.
