Dr. Shazia Diez A.P. D.O.M. combines her knowledge and training in science-based acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine to provide integrative and holistic natural medicine.
Dr. Shazia takes the time with each person to understand their health story and their primary concerns with a practical, hands-on approach to really feel what is occurring with her patients.
She specializes in advanced science-based acupuncture that works without following difficult diets or taking lots of expensive supplements. In addition there is no need for blood tests or x-rays to see if acupuncture will work.
She fluently speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Nationally board certified in Acupuncture, Herbal medicine, and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and a licensed Doctor of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture Physician in Florida.
Education includes a Bachelor’s of Health Science, Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine and an advanced clinical internship program in Science-based Acupuncture and specialized training and qualifications in Cosmetic Acupuncture.

The 1st appointment
Acupressure is a reliable clinical method to find out if and how much acupuncture will work for many conditions before even putting in a needle.
Acupressure can be applied to acupuncture points to see if there are any immediate changes to joint mobility or pain with many acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders.
Effectiveness of acupuncture for internal disorders is also evaluated by testing changes to their related visceral-cutaneous reflexes that show as muscle guarding and referred pain.
The results from the acupressure testing are combined with information about your present and past medical history to give you a logical explanation and realistic expectations of what acupuncture can do for you.
Dr. Walsh will outline a treatment plan with the number and types of treatment recommended, along with answering any questions.
