About
Molly is an Orthopedic Licensed Massage Therapist who works closely with her clients, taking the time to thoroughly communicate and evaluate throughout a session from intake to farewell in order to fully customize the experience based on individual needs. She integrates her knowledge from working closely with physical therapists at private practices with her medical/orthopedic, acupressure, sports, deep tissue and swedish relaxation massage foundation for a solid and pain relieving approach. Where applicable Molly will add in myofascial release techniques, trigger point, neuromuscular facilitation, scraping and cupping therapies all of which she has had additional training for to target dysfunctional tissue that is causing a disruption to balance the body.
This integrative approach allows Vogel to be diverse and dynamic in a way that is 100% tailored to the individual. Her background gives her a broader view on healing the muscoskeletal system and the body; She is always glad to recommend home self-care routines via simple yet effective self massage, breathing, movement and stretching techniques to keep problematic symptoms at bay and promote an abundance of health and wellness between sessions.
Vogel graduated from the Connecticut Center of Massage Therapy in Westport Connecticut and went on to receive her CT license #009969 in 2017. She has worked in various spas throughout CT not limited to but including A Balanced Body and has also worked for Church Hill Physical Therapy and Thomaston Physical Therapy all alongside running her own practice which she now runs full time since 2020. Vogel vigorously continues her education with orthopedic massage and Traditional Chinese Medicine modalities. She also keeps a practice of meditation, nutrition, herbs, and oils in her personal arsenal of continued education.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have a health intake and general consent form for new clients to fill out. I will then sit down and go over the forms and discuss areas of concern with the client, asking and answering questions based on individual needs to also gain insight into the clients general daily routines. Before the hands on component of the session begins I also do a postural analysis and watch a client's gait. Throughout a deep tissue session I will frequently ask for deep breaths (unless this becomes too much) and will check in with my clients to make sure pressure is at the person's tolerance on each trigger.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
CT License #009969
I went to massage school in 2017 at the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in Westport, CT and have since taken several continuing education courses geared towards pain management utilizing Cupping Therapy, Guasha, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Active Release Techniques and Neuromuscular Therapies.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started in this business?
I was a Goldsmith for a decade and personally relied on self trigger point work with a theracane to deal with the pain that the repetitive motions of my job triggered in my body.
