About

I offer both private and community-style acupuncture sessions. I combine acupuncture with Reiki/energy work, Tuina (Chinese Medical Massage), and a range of supporting techniques to maximize the benefit for each client. This allows me to customize sessions, to fit the unique needs of each individual. I find that this combination is able to access deeper healing, on the physical, mental, emotional, and energetic levels. The result is a powerful synergy that can shift symptoms and promote long-term wellbeing.

I love to see a wide range of clients and work on a diverse cross-section of conditions. Seeing patients regain passion for their life as symptoms fall away is incredible. This improves the immediate quality of life for the individual, and carries through to improve mindsets, behaviors, and relationships. It puts the client back in a healthy balance, creates a brighter trajectory, and generates a ripple of wellness that has an even greater impact.

    Frequently asked questions

I do a full intake before the first session, to get a complete picture of your health concerns and wellness goals. Once any questions are answered, we get you on the table and I'll place the needles. After the needles are in place, I use hands-on energy work (Reiki) to reinforce the action of the treatment. We typically conclude each session with Tuina (Chinese medical massage), cupping or gua sha, depending on your specific conditions and needs.
I have a Master's of Science in Acupuncture, which includes a three-year clinical training program. I'm a Reiki Master, and have done additional energy work training in Tuina and Medical Qi Gong.
For private sessions, the inital consult is $110 and all follow-ups are $95. With community-style, the first treatment is $45 and follow-ups are $35. The first session typically takes just over an hour, and all follow-up sessions fit within an hour. This pricing includes acupuncture, reiki/energy work, and any other supporting therapies that fit your needs.
My interest in alternative medicine grew out of my personal healing process. I needed a system that addresses the mind and body in a natural way-to resolve the root of the issue rather than just masking it's symptoms. My early exposure to yoga and Reiki were great tools that helped set me on my path to become an acupuncturist.
I work with a wide range of patients, often focused on pain relief and emotional balancing. I see quite a few patients to address internal body systems, such as digestive disorders, respiratory concerns and reproductive health. I have a particular passion in working with patients dealing with PTSD and trauma healing.
Find someone you really connect with! This is a type of therapy where it counts if you click with your practitioner. If you feels drawn to a certain pro, go with your gut instinct!
Get a clear picture of what you're looking to address with your treatment. There's a wide range of practitioners- some have a more Western approach and address largely orthopedic/structural issues, while other's have a very Eastern mentality and focus on the full spectrum of body, mind and energetic well-being. Let the pro know, so you can find someone who's really compatible.
