About

I run a cooperative wellness center called In Motion wellness and Spa. We have 4 massage therapist including a deep tissue and Thai practionier, neuromuscular therpist, pre and postnatal therapist and a geriatric woman's therapist . We also offer orthobionomy which is a wholistic therapy that helps reset the nervous system and reduce pain. We have a clinical psychologist who counsels and does life coaching. We have two gals doing facials and we offer chemical peals and microdermabrasion .

I have been a personal trainer and fitness instructor for 25 years with a back ground in Pilates, yoga and wholistic medicine. I've been doing massage for two years plus and have studied Thai, Ayurvedic and trigger point therapies. I have a passion for natural medicine and healthy lifestyle. I live what I preach and love to share.

Helping people! I can't fix every problem but people always leave feeling better. Each time they come in things get a bit better than before. Soon you forget the problem ever existed.

    Frequently asked questions

Being a trainer, I'm always looking at how the body moves and pain patterns.  I work with massage to release the knots and tension patterns.  I usually teach exercises and stretches to address areas that clients carry pain in.    I do in house personal training at my office, sometimes in homes and at the Fruita Rec center.

I studied kinesiology and nutrition at LSU.  I've been a trainer managing gyms and working in the wellness industry for 25 years.  I also ran a CSA (community supported agriculture) and hobbybfarm in OK.  I love plant based eating but have back ground in various nutrition plans and can help natigate all the information and find what's right for you.  I'm a certified personal trainer thru AFAA.  I've taken training in yoga, Pilates, Meditation, breathwork, essential oils, light therapy, Reike and quantum touch to name a few.

My rates are $70 an hour for massage.  I often include or for a $5 add on infared light  and frequency therapy to deepen relaxation and increase circulation, reduce inflammation and pain. My 90 minute massages are $95.  I do chair massage and short assisted Thai yogic stretching for 30 minute sessions for $40, 15 minutes chair for $20.

I've always had lots of enthusiasm and motivation. I found that I can easily share this.  I'm very good at meeting people at where they are at and helping them find a gentle pace to move forward in a positive direction.  It's important to be in the right head space with positive thinking, goal setting and accountability.  I got certified as a personal trainer during college.  I managed gym and trained to support myself thru school and loved it so much that I've always done it.

I've been very blessed with an ability to be very adaptive with many types of clients.  I've worked with young athletes, body builders, seniors and Middle age women and men.  I manage a small wellness center with several massage therapist and I can direct you to someone else in the office if we are not the right fit.

Find someone that you click with.  You should be able to easily communicate and generally enjoy the person.   Find someone that has several year of experience and has been trained in several modalities that you like

What are your goals, time frame and budget?  How much time to have to allocate to meeting these goals?  How can thus be fun for me?
