My name is Alyse Couget and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Colorado. What inspired me to practice massage therapy as a career was a deep desire to help and be of service to others. I can still remember my first massage and how incredibly therapeutic it felt. Getting to help people be in touch with their own bodies in support of health and wellness is truly rewarding. It’s amazing how we can turn to our own body’s wisdom for healing and guidance.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

For each personalized treatment session, I use a variety of techniques that cater to each individuals needs including: Swedish or relaxation, neuromuscular, myofascial, deep tissue, and of course Lomi Lomi. With an added knowledge of anatomy, pathology, kinesiology, and hands on training, I’m excited to contribute my skills, passion and care through massage therapy. To create a comfortable and safe environment for clients.

My massage business is strictly professional massage and massage therapy only. Any requests other than massage may result in filing a police report.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

After accumulating experience in the spa and medical spa fields, I have completed a NCBTMB approved Lomi Lomi level 1 certification. Lomi is an ancient Hawaiian healing practice and has changed the way I approach massage therapy for the better. Lomi is deep yet gentle, Lomi is long, rhythmical, and soothing strokes. It allows the practitioner to communicate with the soft tissues without being invasive or hurtful. The Native Hawaiian practice of Lomi is about connecting to one’s mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual self.
