About
I offer Thai Bodywork which is performed fully clothed on a mat on the floor. It is amazing work and most my clients say they will "never go back" to "regular massage". It is a component of traditional Thai medicine, and very comprehensive in scope, and can alleviate a wide array of symptoms.
Thai massage is said to be as good for the giver as the receiver, so performing my work is good for me too! I'm selfish in that making you feel better makes me feel better. i do not work on a large muscle group with my thumb (bad idea). I use my whole body (hands, feet, arms, I might even stand on you if you are big, I only weigh 120 lbs. can you imagine trying to get this kind of pressure with a thumb or hand?). I have helped so many people that have not received relief from surgery/drugs/anything. It is very satisfying to be able to help in this way.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My processs is client driven: some want to talk before scheduling, so I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation. Many people just know they want my work, and they just go ahead and schedule online. I listen to verify what my clients wants/needs, or, I can just work on you and find problem areas: your choice.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to massage school in 2002 completing 630 hours of training I have continued my training studying Myofascial Release (John Barnes), Neuromuscular Therapy (PNMT, NMT, Triggerpoint (Doug Nelson), and from 2010 on Thai Massage Training.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Thai massage is generally 90minutes or more. 90 minutes is $115, 2 hrs is $115.00, 3 hours $225.00.
How did you get started in this business?
I made the natural switch from organic gardner (yep caring for the planet, your health) to tending your body and soul. A friend (chiroproctor) was opening a wellness clinic, and I wanted to be a part of that. The rest is history.
What types of customers have you worked with?
You name it: Athletes to quadraplegics, MS and other neurological disorder respond well to Thai Bodywork. Many clients are more comfortable with my work because it is done clothed, and my mat can accomodate hundreds of pounds and is very wide, so obese clients are quite comfortable receiving my work. I deal with TJM, migraines, Low back pain, tennis elbow, sinus headaches and more. A favorite success story was a woman in an auto accident who had headaches for 5 years before seeing me. After 3 sessions she was headache free and cried from the relief <3
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
AcroYoga events are my favorite, and I can give a flying massage with you on my feet.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Who did they study with? How long have they been in practice? What kind of success do they have? Honesly, connection is very important so finding out if you like thier personality is important too: are you comfortable in their presence? Do you like them? You need to be able to relax and feel confident in their hands.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Why are you receiving massage? I was asked this at my first massage and I had no idea why I was there (and that was ok! I still recieved a great massage!). Do you want a "technical" massage? Personally, I want a great, rexaling massage from someone who can give me therapeutic benefits. But I don't want them constantly asking questions or rating my experince. In my opinion, if they are a good bodyworker, they can help you feel better without hurting you, and giving you a wonderful relaxing experience.
