In that experience, I became affiliated with trauma specializations including domestic violence, rape, homicide, addiction, and gang violence.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
People have always asked, “why did I become a therapist?” And that question has always sat with me – like many of the emotions I sit with daily. And the truth is, my choice to become a therapist was a calling for me. It was a spiritual and emotional drive to do something that was bigger than myself.
What the Caterpillar Calls the End of Life, the Master Calls the Butterfly.
– Richard Bach
This was the first sentence of my personal statement which got me into Northwestern University where I got my graduate degree. Psychotherapy changes hearts and ignites transformation in an individual; the same way that the caterpillar transforms into a butterfly. In therapy, I get to watch people grow into magical, beautiful, bright-winged butterflies. I hope that Sauna can be a place for us to be human together. To self-inquire and get curious about ourselves. To know that even in the darkness – you’re not alone and we’re all on a particular journey. Sauna is a place to find a glimpse of hope and to grow wings that allow you to soar.
