Marc Juneau, A Denver Licensed Massage Therapist
About
In 1997, I decided to explore a career in Massage Therapy and enrolled at Blue Cliff College in Kenner, Louisiana. The growing boom in the Internet and Technology industries interrupted my intended path, and after attending the University of Advancing Computer Technology (UAT.edu)in Tempe, Az (2001-2004) in my first career I became a successful entrepreneur in web development within the New Orleans market and beyond. I was the owner and proprietor of a successful web development agency named NOLAGraphics which I closed in 2016.
During that time I helped create social awareness in the Technology community within my own company and by participating in the creation of NetSquared New Orleans. I even co-created a whole New Orleans-centric Crowfunding business, FundDat, helping many projects create, publish and campaign their fund. FundDat became its own successful social construct in New Orleans winning the NOLA TechSoup 2013 contest and went on to the National Competition in Las Vegas.
Since resuming my education of Massage Therapy at Blue Cliffs in 2015, I have acknowledged and accepted that this is my true calling. At the end of the day, I genuinely feel I have made a difference in someone’s life, felt the glow of his or her aura and, helped to make that glow brighter. My commitment to help others, making a difference, helping one person at a time and to recognize while achieving their wellness goals runs deep for me.

How did you get started in this business?
I served two terms on the Board of Directors of the American Massage Therapy Association Florida Chapter as their Director of Marketing and Two-Year Term Board Member (Vice President). I was engaged to assist with their computer technology and marketing needs for member CEU classes we hosted regularly as well as engaging in overseeing the chapter via monthly conference calls with the Board. Upon moving to Colorado I worked with the Co chapter in a similar fashion as their role of Board member #2.
Starting in December 2018 I attended the Aveda school in Davies, Fl three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) for their Aesthetician program thru June of 2019. I took a leave of absence to move to Colorado and planned to return to school in 2020 but lo an behold a whole global pandemic happened. in 2022 I am looking forward completing my AVEDA training for aesthetics and being Dual Licensed extending my experience in the field.
I currently reside in the Five Points neighborhood nestled right next to Downtown Denver Colorado.
My intention here is to progress my career in the Massage field learning as much as I can along the way. We are eternal students and teachers to all and should never stop being open, listening and learning. Since obtaining my license I have worked in the Destin/30A Market, West Palm Beach, Mandeville, Louisiana and now the Denver, Colorado area.
I look forward to discussing any upcoming opportunities and demonstrating my skills and enthusiasm with you at your earliest convenience.
What types of customers have you worked with?
At any spa, resort or massage job I have worked at the booking agents have always sent me Athletes, Senior citizens & Injury Therapy clients not necessarily by my request but by what my clients have indicated to them of my skills set of modalities and knowledge of anatomy. Now upon the first time I am launching my own business I am glad to accept these clients into my new home studio nestled in the downtown area of Denver!
