We've worked with patients of all different types- men and women; youth, elderly, or middle aged; active or not; fit or not. The one thing all our patients have in common is that they value their health, and see acupuncture and massage as one aspect of a healthy lifestyle.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A patient had been trying to get her husband to see me. He's been suffering knee pain that is bad enough that he doesn't participate in the active lifestyle he used to enjoy. He was very resistant- "If physical therapy didn't help, massage won't help either." He finally came in three times before a long vacation that required a lot of walking. Now, after his vacation, the first thing he did when he got home was ask his wife to schedule a session for him! He wants to come in regularly now, because it "keeps my knees feeling great"!
