Alex had great communication! I was in need of prenatal services and my husband got deep tissue- very different needs and both of us felt well taken care of! She listed to all the areas I felt needed work as well as checked in with pressure throughout the massage. Will definitely hire Alex again! :)

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When I work with new clients I like to know a little bit about their history and their environment.  This helps me implement a customized massage that targets  my client's needs and problem areas.

  • Have you tried anything else?
  • Do you have any conditions?
  • Ask them to go over their health form.
  • Are you taking any medications that may be a contraindication to massage?

How did you get started in this business?

I wanted to make a difference in people's life. There's so many studies showing massage can help our human condition far beyond relaxation. Here  are some physical benifits of massage:

  • reduced muscle tension.
  • improved circulation.
  • stimulation of the lymphatic system.
  • reduction of stress hormones.
  • relaxation.
  • increased joint mobility and flexibility.
  • improved skin tone.
  • improved recovery of soft tissue injuries.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I work with clients with varying needs, from pregnant woman to injure athletes, altering services as needed.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Look for a massage therapist with great physical stamina, strength, and dexterity. Also, a Massage therapist should be someone you feel comfortable with, listens well, and you trust to implement the best treatment for your body.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

Let your massage therapist know if you have any new or old injuries, if you have any allergies or if you're pregnant. If you feel any uncomfortable pain while in session or if you're too hot or too cold or if the music is too loud or if you're nervous about anything. Massage therapist are there for you. We like to make your experience pleasant, comfortable and happy.
