Aurora gave me the most amazing massage. I had been fairly sore, but I had no idea just how jacked up I was. She found every bad spot on my body and worked them and when she was done, I was able to move again in ways I had forgotten I could. She has an innate intuition to find all the rough spots and she works them perfectly. I was amazed at how a massage could improve the way I felt as much as hers did. She is a miracle worker!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

On a first visit i always plan for extra time to really ask open ended questions until i feel i understand exactly what the expectations and desired outcome of the session is.  I also explain in detail what I think the best course of action is and make sure we're both on the same page.  I check in more frequently the first time I see someone because I like making sure I'm meeting the goals we previously established.

I do a thorough review at the end to make sure the expectations and goals have been met to the clients satisfaction, and if they haven't, I then once again, ask open ended questions to try to understand what it was they really needed or what they would have preferred.

In the very few times this has actually happened, my policy is to offer another session, at no cost to once again meet the expectation, or if i'm not able to give them what they want or need, i refer them to another therapst who can.  Customer Service is a passion for me and i want every person to get what they need for a price that's fair for everyone

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I actually studied massage in the state of Florida where the profession is regulated my the department of health so i have over 200 hours of study in anatomy alone.  I graduated in 2013 with acceptance into the Technical Honor Society as well as Student of The Quarter accolades from Winter Park Tech located just outside of Orlando.  I've taken continuing education since focusing on mainly therapeutic techniques that help manage chronic pain issues

How did you get started in this business?

Aurora began her career in massage therapy 15 years ago when she learned to practice Reiki from her mother Louise. It was this healing practice that led Aurora to massage therapy, as Reiki practitioners became required by the State of Florida -- which treats massage therapists as members of the medical profession -- to certify as massage therapists because they lay their hands on their clients.

In 2012, Aurora and Louise enrolled at Winter Park Technical Institute, studied for and received Certification in Massage Therapy (CMT). Winter Park is where Aurora found her passion for the various massage techniques she now uses to treat clients today.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked on professional athletes,  tech giants, marathon runners,  tri-atheletes, new moms and dads overworked start up slaves, and so many other kinds of chronic pain and injury rehabilitation clients I'm at a lot to remember them all.

Specifically able to help with TMJ release, sciatica, thoracic outlet syndrome, rotator cuff injuries, and carpal tunnel.
