About
Bodywork is a broad term that consists of all hands on therapies. A combination of massage, active release, myofascial release , deep tissue, neuromuscular facilitation, trigger point, and more depending on your needs.
Bodywork can be relaxing but it can also be uncomfortable when dealing with deeper concerns like chronic pain and fascial adhesions. Whether you are looking for a relaxing massage or intense "mechanical" work, we can help. Every session is different as it is based on your individual concerns.
Shiela is a massage therapist located in Austin, TX. She graduated from the Edgar Cayce Center with 700 hours of training. That, combined with a 200 hour prajna yoga certification, has given her a solid anatomical foundation and knowledge of the body. Treating the body as a whole and finding the root cause of pain is a key factor in her approach. Shiela's work can help those experiencing chronic pain, athletes looking to improve performance, or anyone seeking overall wellness.
I love being able to help people feel better, perform better in their active lives, sleep better, and just have a better time in this life. I enjoy getting to know my clients and I look forward to seeing each and every one.
