About
I have nearly 10 years of experience as a Certified Massage Therapist. I graduated from Bryan College with 1180 hours of training and hands-on experience. This extensive training included aromatherapy, spa services, deep tissue, medical and swedish massage tequniques as well as an in depth study of muskuloskeletal anatomy and physiology.
Massage is something that everyone can benefit from. From infancy well into old age, massage can be used to help heal our bodies and soothe our minds. I love massage because it can be utilized as a support practice for many physical and even mental ailments.
Helping people to feel their very best is one of the greatest accomplishments I have experienced as a CMT. When someone comes to me in pain and leaves feeling better than when they came in, I know that I made a real difference in that person's life. That makes this career so rewarding!

How did you get started in this business?
I have always been drawn to the healing arts and massage therapy has held a special place in my heart. So in 2012 I decided to get certifed and follow this passion in into the career of my dreams!
After getting out of school I started working at a large franchise massage clinic to gain experience. I am now happy to say I am branching out and beginning a practice of my own.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide range of clients from all walks of life. I specialize in swedish relaxation techniques that are great for stress and chronic conditions like fibromyalgia. However I also work with deep tissue and trigger point techniques to get out all those knots, aches, and pains of daily life.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
It is important to find a therapist with experience and proper training. Not all CMTs are created equal. Certification programs, hands on experience, and years in the business can make a big difference. Be careful that you find a massage therapsit with the right credentials and training for what you need!
You should also give yourself time to find the right therapist and don't worry if it takes you a few tries. Every CMT has their own style and every client's body will have different needs. One therapist might give too much pressure, while another might be too light. The services and modalities they offer can also be vastly different. You just have to find the one that's right for you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What are your goals for recieving massage? Are you looking for pain relief, relaxation, etc?
Are you wanting to start a long term or short term treatment plan? Or are you just wanting a massage as a once in a while kind of treat?
How does massage fit into your current lifestyle? How would you like it to?
