My name is Pan Elliott, and my journey toward becoming a massage therapist is one built on resilience, hard work, and an unwavering passion for helping others heal.

Originally from Thailand, I moved to the United States over 12 years ago in pursuit of better opportunities. Like many immigrants, my early years were spent working long hours in the restaurant industry while taking English classes at College of the Desert. I was determined to succeed, and after five years of dedication, I was promoted to restaurant manager—a role I held while simultaneously pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Hospitality Management. My goal at the time was to one day open my own business.

For seven years, I committed to 60+ hour work weeks, but everything changed when I suffered a personal injury. That experience introduced me to the healing power of massage therapy. The profound relief I found through massage ignited a new passion within me—one that shifted the entire direction of my life.

I enrolled in the Somatherapy Institute School of Massage and immersed myself in learning. I completed over 600 hours of instruction in record time, dedicating my days to studying muscular structure, perfecting techniques, and researching both Western and traditional Thai massage practices. My passion and discipline led me to become a mentor to fellow classmates and build a reputation for professionalism and thoroughness.

Throughout my journey, I noticed how common and persistent pain is—from stress, sports, or physically demanding jobs. Inspired to help others experience the relief I had found, I made it my mission to share the healing benefits of massage therapy.
