About
I practice holistic integrative massage therapy. This includes modalities such as Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, Sports massage, Myofacial Release, Reiki, Swedish, and more.
In a session I integrate and use tools that I feel works for each individual.
I work with a lot of injuries, but I also provide "regular" relaxing, flowy, healing massages, and I often do a combination.
In addition to hands on bodywork, I teach pilates to stretch, strengthen, and aligning the body.
I love to connect with people and it's always facinating to learn what a body does to keep us going, make us heal, and what it stores for the future.
I practice hands on body work and I teach pilates as well. I have found it to be very useful to combine massage therapy with specific exercises to recover from an injury or to correct imbalances or other trauma in the body.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I listen to what the new client's needs are. If it feels necessary, I'll take a look at the posture/alignment before I let them get on the table. I will ask the client to fill out a basic intake form, just so that I can be informed of contraindications to my therapy, likes and dislikes, and what their intention is with the session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a listing of all classes and courses on my website, www.swedishbalance.com.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Do they have experience? How many clients have they worked with and for how many years? Have they worked with your specific needs before?
