About this pro

Progressive Motion Physical Therapy is an outpatient PT practice (in clinic or at the location of your choice) that emphasizes in acute and chronic orthopedic related issues. We use a hands-on approach and treat the body as a whole rather than treating just the symptoms. Every client is treated with a plan tailored to their needs.

Accompanied by professional guidance, we make sure that the client is in control of their recovery.

Michelline has been a passionate physical therapist since 2006! Experienced in neuro (stroke, Parkinson's Disease, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries), joint replacements (shoulder, hip, and knee), chronic pain issues. Michelline also works with athletes (runners, cyclists, golfers, dancers, gymnasts).

I love helping people feel better! I love to help them troubleshoot ways to making their lives easier, whether it's to improve functional mobility or to decrease their level of pain. Educating my patients is my number one goal. Without the understanding of their disease or knowing the root cause of their pain, then how will the patient know how to improve on a daily basis?!

Michelline is one of the best. I’ve gone to different therapists for my frozen neck, and stiff back/shoulders, including chiropractors. No one could help me like she did. Besides addressing my issues, she helped strengthen my body, showed me how to do certain exercises at home and always followed up with me. She is professional, kind and really great at what she does. I highly recommend this therapist.

Progressive Motion was the only therapy where I felt truly taken care of. I had been to many physical therapists who were not able to pinpoint what my ankle injury was exactly. Micheline Elzahr took her time in assessing my injury and explained in detail what exactly was going on with me. My ankle quickly got better with her therapy. I thought I would never be pain-free again! To top that all off, she came all the way to my home! I have never experienced such professional honest treatment in my life!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Each patient undergoes a head-to-toe assessment where posture, alignment, strength and Range of Motion is evaluated. Each patient receives 100% hands on techniques for muscle adhesion release, skeletal realignment, and educated on their current physical concerns.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been a Physical Therapist since 2006. I graduated with my Masters degree from Sacramento State University. Along with multiple facility experience in all areas of PT, I opened my first outpatient clinic in Folsom, CA where we exclusively saw ultra marathoners and cyclists.
