Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually perform basic assessment of range of motion, take note of any postural deviations and ask a few questions regarding health history to determine an approach that is best suited for your body. I will also ask what type of work you usually prefer and what your expectations from a massage session are.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a deep knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and pathology. I like to combine various techniques and modalities to customize each session to your body's specific needs at the time of work. Such modalities include Deep tissue, Swedish massage, Mayofascial therapies, lymphatic drainage, acupressure. I also have a great deal of experience with prenatal massage.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $150 for a 60 min session, $210 for a 90 min session, and $260 for 120 minute massage. Price is the same regardless of the type of massage.
How did you get started in this business?
I have graduated from National Holistic Institute in 2015. I have been in private practice ever since. Alongside my private practice I also worked at a chiropractic office, a luxury day spa and a Detox wellness center.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide range of clients, including those going through injury recovery, prenatal and postnatal care. I also see clients with a high stress and/or a desk job, who need a regular body upkeep to maintain overall wellbeing.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I believe it's important to find a massage therapist who listens to yours needs, asks questions and works with you to find the best approach to your body. Each body is unique and beautiful in it's own way, therefore it requires a unique approach from a person who is intuitive and flexible. A therapist who invites your body to relax, let go and surrender the tension, rather than "force" you into that state, which I believe is impossible.
