I'm a medical massage therapist and I specialize in treating soft tissue injuries and chronic pain. I combine different modalities to achieve optimal results: Deep Tissue, Sports Massage and Trigger Point Therapy. I've been in practice since 2003 and have helped most of my clients reduce or even eliminate their pain. I understand what is involved in dealing with chronic pain because I have suffered from it myself. That is one of the reasons I'm unique, I not only know how to find the root of your pain/injury, but I also understand what you are going through emotionally and physically as you go through the healing process. I often assign homework to my clients which empowers them to manage the pain in between sessions and to see improvement more quickly.
I love the process of helping my clients reduce/eliminate their pain. I get a lot of satisfaction from knowing that I'm really helping people, especially when they've tried other modalities and haven't had success. It's wonderful to see people get their life back.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I provide a free phone consultation where a prospective new client may ask questions. I will also do a short intake and possibly offer some suggestions on how they can manage their pain before they even come in for their first appointment. When I see a client for the first time, I also do an intake and based on their issues I come up with a treatment plan and massage based on their input. I may give them homework like, icing, stretches or self massage depending on their symptoms.

I attended California Healing Arts College.
