I enjoy providing results for my clients. Keep in mind I do not "fix" people but I work with them to recover, rehabilitate and manage pain.

With every new client I will ask questions concerning medical history past and present. If the client has never had massage I will give them a brief orientation on what to expect. I also explain to my client that above all it is crucial to work within their comfort zone and to communicate as needed both in and out of session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed 1000 hours of education in massage therapy to obtain my license and additionally I have continued education to maintain my license. My training in massage includes Swedish, Sports, Pre-natal, Myofasical release, Chair, Hot Stones, Trigger Point, Deep Tissue and Lymphatic. In addition to that I have managed and had experience in service occupations for over 15 years.

How did you get started in this business?
I have always liked to work with my hands and I've always liked the idea of having a job where I provided a skilled service to people. I also like to help people and massage accomplishes all this and more.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with the elderly, rehabilitation clients, athletes, pregant clients, injured clients and clients with occupational induced stress both physical and mental.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was able to provide chair massage in 2019 to the staff of Casa De Los Ninos on Speedway and everyone in that building needed a massage and it was an honor to give to those who are always giving through the care and work they give.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I personally believe when you are venturing into self care through massage ask your primary health care resources if massage is something you are able to have safely. Research as much as possible if you have a specific need. Ask questions always. Shop around however I would suggest that not in the interests of pricing but rather what therapist feels right to you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Am I cleared to have massage by my primary health care?
Will I need more than one session?
Am I able to accommodate space for a therapist in my home? (This pertains not only to the massage table but also the therapist being able to move freely around the table)
Is my issue severe enough that I should see a medical professional first? (A massage therapist is trained to alleviate pain and discomfort, they do not diagnose)
