What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I make sure that I fully explain what will be done and get to know my clients and their needs. I answer any questions that may have. I also tell them they can call back any time before the massage if they have further questions as well as calling after the massage for any questions. I make sure that I make my clients feel at ease with me. I have been doing this for 27 years so have talked to many different types of people. My clients and friends tell me I'm pretty intuitive so I always know how or most of the time how they are feeling. So it is easy for me to put myself in their shoes.😊
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from The Clinic Massage Institiute of Geneseo in Nov. of 95' in a small group setting of us 5 massage therapy students, an advantage compared to big classrooms.
I have taken many seminars over the years ranging from neuromuscular therapy, taught by the Upledger Institiute, to the correct form of myofascial release taught by John F. Barnes. myofascialrelease.com

A brief description....It stems with when I met my boyfriend back when I was 18 and learned the massage because his mother did massage and I would trade with my boyfriend. A few years after him when I moved on, my friends would tell me I was good but I just thought they were saying that.In March of 1995,I pursued my massage vareer starting back in Illinois. When I practiced on my mom's friends, One said, " You are smiling !Do you like what you do ? and I said, "Yes!" I have been smiling ever since. 😊 But I love what I do to make people feel good, relaxed, and on their pain free journey that can be after 1 time or more depending on what is going on 😉😊

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
An event to me since I just broke my arm the Day After Christmas 2022 and did my 1st one and a 1/2 hour massage today the 3rd of January about 2 weeks now.
My client said he loved it and didn't feel like I was even using one hand. He paid me the full price as well which I didn't expect him to do since I only have one hand to massage with.
So come get your massages if you wish because I have to do what I have to do what I love!
