Hi, my name is Diana and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. I have a passion for empowering people to live the life they desire and to walk alongside others in their journey towards self-discovery. My approach is to focus on autonomy, connecting you with your inner strengths to lead you towards a future rewritten by you. A future that you get to design even when the here and now seems unmanageable. I believe that you know exactly what you need in order to live the life you desire. Together, we will work closely utilizing positive communication, empathetic listening, and genuine care to help you feel more like your authentic self.
I enjoy building a genuine therapeutic relationship with another human being. It is a pleasure to witness and culminate a supportive, judgment-free, impenetrable space for a person to be vulnerable and safely share their inner workings, deconstructing every aspect of who they are just to pave way for newly enriched and empowered life experiences! Now that is an incredible feeling!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process of seeking therapy begins with you, the client. This step can be difficult sometimes, however, once you feel you are ready, you may reach out to schedule a free consultation. This type of appointment is a 'meet and greet' session, where we can discuss therapy expectations, answer any questions you may have, and determine if we are a good fit to begin working together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master of Professional Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas Wesleyan University.
I have met all the requirements by the State of Texas to obtain licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Shawna Munson, MA, LPC-S, LMFT.

I do not accept insurance at this time. Upon request, I can provide a superbill to submit to insurance.
If the cost of therapy is keeping you from therapy, sliding scale options are offered with limited availability.
