About
Whenever I meet someone looking for help for their marriage, their relationships, their inner life, their behaviors, or their future, it never crosses my mind to think, "what's wrong with you?" I think, "what happened to you?" In our sessions, I focus, first, on helping clients recognize and resolve the issues that drive their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. Addressing these underlying, causative issues—often stemming from complex trauma—makes changing the situation straightforward. Anything less is like putting a bandaid on a gangrenous leg wound; you might stop the bleeding, but you could lose the limb.
I am passionate about helping people recognize and resolve issues underlying the obstacles to growth, change, and attainment in their lives and relationships.
Sometimes these obstacles present as:
serious challenges in our
relationships,
behaviors, and
feelings and thoughts.
Sometimes they are existential question like:
"Am I ready?"
"What do I really want?"
"How am I going to get from where I am to where I want to be?"
Often, they are disguised as our own self-defeating thoughts.
"I couldn't do that."
"I'll never be able to accomplish it."
"I'm not _________ enough."
I especially love doing this work in the online environment, free from limitations to time, distance, and privacy.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Because I travel extensively, I see my clients exclusively online, via Duo, Skype, or FaceTime, etc. I offer the first session at just $30, to give potential clients a full session to determine if I’m a good fit for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A Licensed Professional Counselor, I have a master’s degree in Counseling. But my most valuable “training” has come from the things my clients have taught me as we work together to navigate the obstacles, white water, stagnation, setbacks and failures, complex trauma, and (yes, joys and successes) in their lives.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
First Session: $30. Your first full counseling, premarital, or life coaching session is half price.
Subsequent Sessions: $60.
4-Month Weekly Relationship/Marriage Coaching: $765 (totaling $45 per session.) 4 month, non-refundable commitment to 17 weekly sessions partners make to each other.
6-Month Weekly 1/2 Hour Coaching. $910 (totaling $35/session.) 6 month, non-refundable commitment to 26 weekly sessions.
Spiritual Counseling. $60. I meet my spiritual counseling clients at the point of THEIR spirituality, not mine. The true expression of my belief system—Christianity—is love God; love people, each of whom is inherently valuable. I counsel out of a deep respect for human beings, whatever they believe.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Counselors. Look for a counselor who works with Complex Traumatic Stress (also known as Complex Psychological Trauma, or just, Complex Trauma, for short)—especially those who talk about resolving trauma. These counselors usually work with underlying motivations or root causes and have specific training in neuropsychology and the mind body connection.
