Hi! I’m Margaret! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor- Supervisor (#14274) and the owner of Margaret Hood Black & Associates, PC. I have been in practice for over 20 years.
My areas of interest and expertise include marital counseling, ADHD, parenting and oppositional teenage boys. I always enjoy a challenge and enjoy working with the resistant adolescent boys, cutters, and marital affairs. I have a special interest in marriages, families, women and dreams.
I engender a great working relationship with all my clientele. I am easy to talk to and make people of all ages feel comfortable very quickly. I look forward to working with you and your family, and helping you to figure out what’s happening and to heal the hurt.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During our first session, I will ask you a series of questions in order to learn about you and the issues you are struggling with. After the "50 million questions" we will establish goals that you would like to accomplish through therapy.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1997 and in 2016 became licensed as a LPC Supervisor.

The dignostic session (first session) is $200.
Typical sessions are 45-50 minutes are $150
Marriage sessions or 60 minute sessions are $200.
