About
Hello, my name is Inga K. Pinson, owner and founder of IKP Counseling Center. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I am also a board approved LPC and LMFT supervisor. I take pride in helping my clients work through the challenges that affect the mental and emotional quality of life.
Therapeutic sessions are 45 – 50 minutes in length and very client-centered. I help create an atmosphere where clients who are ready, learn how to manage and possibly overcome their emotional and mental difficulties. Therapy is not magic. It is a process between a therapist and client in which the two work together. Therefore, the client has to come into the counseling experience ready and willing to work along with the therapist.
