A an LCSW, I have worked in the therapy and mental health field since 1985 and in private practice ince 1994. So as a saesoned counselor, I have developed a large arsenal of tools to help my clients benefit from my experience and objectivity through the years of client-centered therapy. I have much experieince working with individuals with anxiety and depression, couples experieincing problems, substance use and mood problems, eatin disorders and family therapy. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I speak with them for a few minutes by phone to get a brief synopsis of the problem and decide if it is a good fit for my skill set. I set a convenient appointment time for us to have an initial meeting and I also vrify the clients benefits if they are using insurance. Many insurances have approved telephonic and internet counseling with makes for better ease of use when it comes to busy schedules!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an undergraduate degree i psychology and a Master of Science in Social Work and have been in proivate practice since 1994.

How did you get started in this business?
I started as an undergraduate working in mental health centers.

All types but I prefer working with mood disorders and addicitons with individuals, couples and families.

What is your primary goal that you want to start workingon in counseling? If you don't have one, we will work through it to discover where to stat the work.
