I am a licensed clinical psychologist. My private practice is telehealth based at this time, although I am willing to do home visits in my local area on a case by case basis. I aim to create a safe space when working with my clients, as I believe therapy is most effective in a therapeutic relationship based on warmth, trust, and authenticity. I use an eclectic approach of therapy modalities tailored to each individual’s needs. While I am trained most heavily in Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, I also have training in psychodynamic therapy, Intern Family Systems, and Jungian based Child Centered Play Therapy and Filial Therapy. I’ve worked successfully with people from a wide variety of cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, and employ cultural sensitivity into all my therapeutic relationships. While we may have differences in national origin, race, creed, religion, or sexual orientation, we are all humans going through the human experience at our core. We have more in common than what our differences are, and every person deserves a safe space to be heard, validated, and supported with empathy and unbiased, nonjudgmental care. While I do accept private pay cases, I accept many insurances as well, as I believe all humans deserve affordable access to quality care when they need it.
