I have been seeing Colin Jamron for over 4 years. He has always gone the extra mile to ensure I was getting the care I needed. He has given me strategies for managing my anxiety, as well as encouraging deep introspection to realize my accomplishments.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The intake process involves matching the patient to a therapist that is best suited to work on their concerns. Once an appointment is made, the patient would then be sent a link to an online portal where they can complete the intake packet prior to their first session. An opportunity to ask questions and address concerns will be available leading up to the first session.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Colin Jamron, the president of Jamron Counseling, has a Masters Degree from New York University in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness. He is licensed by the state of New York to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). Colin has experience working with all kinds of issues and people of different demographic backgrounds.

There are also a number of other mental health counselors that work at the practice, some of whom specialize in areas such as marriage and family counseling, creative arts therapy, and neurofeedback.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

Our out of pocket costs are $200 for an intake and $120 for a 45 minute follow up session. However in cases of financial need a sliding scale discounted rate will be made available.

We also work with insurances that have out of network benefits. These plans often carry higher than average deductibles, therefore we offer steep discounts to offset the cost of therapy. A standard session will cost $50 or less when using insurance.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have a wide variety of experience working with issues including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, mood swings, relationship troubles, personality disorders, adjustment disorder, and general stress.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

It's important to shop around and find a therapist that is right for you. Sometimes that means seeing a therapist a few times before deciding a different clinician might be better. At Jamron Counseling we will work to find you the best therapist available for your needs, even if they are not at our practice.
