I believe that therapy is a way of better understanding one's thoughts, feelings and actions, allowing a person to elicit change and ultimately become the best version of themselves. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in work with both Individuals and Couples. I treat teenagers and adults of all ages, who may be dealing with stress and anxiety, depression, low self-esteem/confidence, relationship related issues, maternal mental health issues (such as infertility, loss, postpartum depression and/or anxiety), as well as, new stage of life stressors and transitions.
I strive to create a comfortable and non-judgmental therapeutic environment. My approach focuses on the specific individual/couple and their own unique needs. This includes aspects of cognitive behavioral, supportive and strengths based therapy. The incorporation of mindfulness techniques also promotes reduced stress and increased enjoyment in daily life.
I have a true passion for the work that I do and greatly enjoy assisting others in overcoming obstacles and finding their happiness.
