I currently provide in-person and telephone counseling.
I am empathetic and a good listener. I work with clients to help them to better understand themselves and to reach their goals. I have over 26 years experience working with clients with a wide variety of issues. My training includes graduate study (masters) as well as postgraduate study in the areas of counseling and psychology. I am also a registered and board certified art therapist and utilize this non verbal modality if the client finds speaking difficult or wants to incorporate it with talk therapy. I utilize a cognitive approach whereby the client’s thoughts are examined for negative bias and distortions, and replaced with more rational ways of viewing situations. I accept private insurance.
