About
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. In working with clients, my goal is to create a safe, accepting, and comfortable environment, which is conducive to allow you to grow as an individual and live the best life you can. We will form a mutual desirable relationship and focus our sessions by establishing and setting goals, which we will continue to assess throughout the counseling process. I will listen and remain attentive to your thoughts and concerns.
My special interests include counseling adolescents, adults, families, couples, those struggling with life changes, mental illness such as depression, anxiety, trauma and relationship issues. I work with all people regardless of race, age, national origin, sex, gender, marital status, disability, religious or political affiliation or sexual orientation.
We all have many daily life responsibilities and may become overwhelmed in the process. Self care through times of high stress and life difficulties is critical. Whether you are dealing with grief/loss, anxiety, depression, or day to day uncertainties, I can help you face the challenges and gain control of your life again. There is hope and I can help.
I enjoy helping others find their way. At times, life comes at you fast, and as the old saying goes, "when it rains, it pours". During times of high stress and transition we often forget our ability to strive and thrive through the difficulties. Are you currently feeling stuck on your journey? Dealing with grief and/or loss? Struggling academically or in your career? Anxious about day to day uncertainties? You have come to the right place. With encouragement, I believe individuals have the ability to take control, channel their strengths into progress, grow their resiliency, and reconstruct their life trajectory.
