About

Hi folks! My name is Jesse, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate here in Charlotte. I work with a wide array of issues: anxiety, depression, self-image, life transitions, relationship issues, etc. As a gay man I have a special interest in the LGBTQ community and have worked in the grief and bereavement field for nearly 5 years. In addition to being licensed as an LPCA and holding an M.A./Ed.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I am also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and member of the American Counseling Association and Association for Death Education and Counseling.

Frequently asked questions

WHEN YOU COME TO THERAPY…

1. We’ll sit down and unpack your "suitcase": everything you're bringing with you up to this point in your life. Your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Your relationships, your values, your beliefs.

2. We’ll decide what's worth keeping, what to add to the suitcase, and what to leave behind.

3. You’ll take that suitcase with you, full of new ways to handle whatever life throws at you next.

I'm willing to work as hard as you are to get you the change that you want, and to do that as quickly as possible. I can show you that therapy doesn't have to be scary. I can show you where there is hope to be found.
