My service stands out because I love what I do. I have had my degree for over 13 years; it was hard earned. However, applying the skills and utilizing evidence based practice makes counseling feel freash and new everyday. My passion and drive has been learning how to assist my clients, in a theraputic way. Social work has been my constant.
I truly enjoy the journey that I take with my clients. I enjoy discovering new ways to intervene in problem areas and witnessing the "light bulb" turning on as the person discovers new ways to tackle old issues that they have been unsuccessful. My ultimate joy is witnessing the empowered new feelings that shines on a person's face, in their behavior and in their increased self-esteem.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to assess my clients, assist my client in coming up with a treatment plan, and continue to work on accomplishing the goals on the treatment plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in mental health. I am a certified Subtance Abuse Professional. I have worked in private practice, substance abuse clinic and in a convalescent home. All of these different environments taught me to have patience and allow the client to participate in their recovery or make peace with themselves.
