About this pro

Pure Health Center offers premier psychotherapy services dedicated to helping clients gain healing through improved insight and empowerment.

Our experienced staff offers evidence-based therapeutic techniques in a warm, upscale setting.  Treatment goals are customized to attend to your wellness needs in a personal and attentive way.

We are conveniently located in downtown Arlington Heights just a few steps from the Metra station.

I feel my best when I am helping others. Becoming a counselor has been my dream for a long time and I am thrilled to be in graduate school making it a reality. I am honored to be given the opportunity to get a glimpse into the lives of my clients and respect that everyone enters therapy from a different place. My goal is to meet my clients where they are and establish a working alliance. As a student, my scope of practice includes adults with mild mental health issues such as depression and anxiety.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We have an intake session where we explain the process, how therapy works, and how we will work together.  During this session we also take a thorough assessment of your history to get an understanding of what you would like to focus on.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am working on a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. I received my bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

I offer services on a sliding scale based on income at $30-$50 per session. No insurance is necessary.

How did you get started in this business?

I took an advanced Psychology course in high school and immediately knew it was the field I would eventually work in. I then started going to therapy as a client which allowed me to see how much change is truly possible through counseling. This furthered my conviction that I want to become a licensed counselor and enrich the lives of others the same way that I have been able to enrich my own.
