What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We communicate via text, email, or phone to get a quick idea of how I can best help. We discuss scheduling and paperwork and discuss any questions, comments or concerns right from the beginning to make sure everything is clear snd collaborative.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Northern Illinois University, where I am also currently an Adjunct Professor. I have a PhD in Mental Health and Addiction Counseling from the International University for Graduate Studies. I am licensed and certified in the State of Illinois. I have done workshops and public speaking in various fields of counseling and psychology. I am always going to workshops and trainings to keep my skills sharp. I am very interested in Positive Psychology, to study about what goes right, and not just wrong, with the human experience of this thing we call life. :)
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I bill according the the insurance plan that a person has. Out of pocket full fees range from 120-180$ per session. I accept most major PPO plans.
